There are so many people to be thankful for as we reflect and complete on this year 2001.
Most of all we extend our deepest of gratitude to all the musicians and listeners who believe in and support FolkScene through all these years.

FolkScene began almost thirty-two years ago with a vision of bringing the music first, live and recorded in the highest quality to as many listeners as possible. We begin another year true to our vision.

FolkScene became FolkScene Incorporated (a non profit status is pending)

July - The Third Volume of the FolkScene Collection was issued on Red House Records

FolkScene added two more program stations:

    March 31st - WUMB Boston, MA
    September 14th - KPFZ Lucerne, CA
    Making a total of four stations now broadcasting FolkScene

FolkScene past the one year mark on www.kpig.com & Plains FM New Zealand.

October 13 - Our new web site was launched.

    So all in all, it was a very fruitful year. We expect next year to be even better.
