Glad you’ve arrived ... we invite you to join us in our new adventure.
If you have been a frequent visitor to our web site, you will notice that our look has changed considerably.
This should be of great interest to all our listeners around the world as our once humble radio show, heard only in
the Los Angeles and surrounding areas, has now expanded to accommodate a global audience.
FolkScene.com is dedicated to providing the highest quality music and information to the Folk and Acoustic Community -- locally, nationally, and globally. Our website will feature articles by performers, a message board, reviews of the latest releases,
and a calendar of local performances, which will be of interest at first to our Southern California listeners and eventually will include
itineraries from performers encompassing the world. You will still find all our play lists, online schedule, and the same information that
you’re used to getting at FolkScene.com. We intend to become a full-service folk and acoustic music site. We also have plans to host community concerts in the Los Angeles area.
We have been receiving so many generous offers for financial support from you, our listeners. Until now we have not accepted any
of your donations until we had a reason, and now we do. We need your support to be able to carry on the FolkScene tradition. At this time
we are in the process of obtaining approval from the IRS as a charitable organization, and once it is official we can issue you a tax donation
receipt that will make your donation an official tax deduction on your income taxes. You can read more about FolkScene.com when you visit the Community Center link on our site.
You can buy the new FolkScene Collection CD Volume III. You can also purchase Volumes I and II from the Shopping link on this site.
Support the arts ... Support FolkScene.
Please make all contributions to FolkScene with a check or money order and mail it to:
FolkScene Inc., P.O. Box 707 Woodland Hills, CA 9l365 USA
Thanks for your support all these years ... Stay tuned to www.folkscene.com and watch us grow.
